Player’s Name: Kait/Lavinia/O Great Admin (whutev)
Display Name: Lavinia Lionsgrave
Player's Gender: Female
Roleplay Experience: approx. 8 years on and off
Name: Deniel Cade
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: Standing at 5' 11", his shaggy brown hair hangs just shy of his shoulders. Teal eyes and a jagged scar beneath his left eye, he prefers to hide the rest of his skin under leather armor, studded at the shoulders, forearms, and thighs. He carries a sword at his side, a quiver on his back, and a longbow across one shoulder.
Personality: Helpful, polite, cheerful, he tends to be introverted. While he does not necessarily shun human interaction or company, he feels no compulsion to seek it out; he is content to be alone with his own company.
Biography: Growing up in Dracston, Deniel loved a girl who seemed to return his affections. Cade applied himself diligently to his studies of navigation and warfare, however, this started a growing rift between them. When Den asked her to go to sea with him, she declined his advances in a manner that broke his heart. He fled to the northern post of Snowhaven, where he became a soldier. Still uncertain of himself, he took to going into the snowy mountain woods around the town and testing himself against the wildlife. After two years, several defensive battle against the mountain Drow, and increasingly successful bear hunts, the captain of the guard gave Cade charge of the new, untrained recruits to train. Now he begins to harbor thoughts of traveling, though he has not moved on them yet.
Sample: "Left, boy, LEFT!" Deniel shouted, knocking his iron rod on the teen's elbow. "How do you expect to do anything when your elbow's tucked into your ribs?" The boy sulkily adjusted; Cade snorted and brought the rod down in the other direction, cracking him on the thigh.
Howling, the boy dropped his own rod and jumped around with his eyes shut, mouth open, and hands pressed to his leg. "You're crazy! Crazy! You tell me not to tuck my elbows and then take the opportunity to cheap shot me!"
"Do you expect your enemies to treat you any differently? Think, boy! Besides," Cade said, leaning on his rod in the snowy courtyard and laughing at his pupil, "that wasn't a cheap shot. It was a lesson."
